Counterfeit products are imitations of original products that are often mass produced or sold under the original company’s name but without their permission. Fake products like these have a wide variety of industries which may include apparel, medication, car parts, and even electronics. But the most sold items are accessories, jewelry, handbags, computers, shoes; personal care products, clothes, and wallets. But there are protocols with which businesses can retaliate.

If you are going to fight the menace that is counterfeit industry, you need to remain a step ahead of the rest regarding knowledge so that you can catch them. While all auto-parts can be duped, there are particular auto-parts that counterfeiters prefer to copy for three (3) specific reasons.

2. They can easily be duplicate

Fake manufacturers have taken over the market in the last few years, and unlike the car laws, there is little harnessing on these fake products of after sales. Not only does it spell doom for the brand awareness but can severely damage customer relationship if the customer ends up buying a duped product believing it to be original and then suffers an accident because of it.

The online sector of shopping makes it easier for fake brands to grow their market. However, it is entirely possible for customers to figure out between the original and fake by using a few tricks. If the packaging is faulty or if the price and product quality do not match it usually means that the product is fake.

Companies nowadays do a lot of things to prevent counterfeiting. Holograms, Security Labels and all sorts of Anti-Counterfeit practices are used. Still, somehow, counterfeit goods end up in the hands of the consumer and the consumer has to suffer. However, it is often due to the lack of attention from customers’ point of view too. However, companies have decided to fight and nail against it, since they realize that it has to be a global war against a web of invisible networks that span the globe and amass more than trillion dollars.
