Comprehensive Survey is must before Buying Valves

Counterfeit has been spreading faster than it ever did with the advancement of technologies. It has its vile way of creeping up into every sector of any market, i.e. from mobiles to even apparels.

And for one legitimate product, there are at least a dozen of duped product which is being sold in the market. Even the industrial valve companies were not being exempted.

The market is evidently filled with artificial valves and fittings which can do no good for the consumers buying it. The presence of such a product has saturated the market in such a way that it’s tough, even to differentiate.

Most of these go undetected since the consumers buy it without scrutinizing the product. Most of the times certain consumers get vocal about being duped when the counterfeit valves they have brought failed. But others are scared to even complain about it for being judged as some who is negligent.

Types of Counterfeits

Many consumers would think that the products which are manufactured under fake labels are counterfeits, but it sadly doesn’t end there. Some merchants refurbish old products and sneak them into their stock to make some easy cash.

Usually, the old ones are usually sold as scrap mostly, but at times these products are also being used after refurbished under some dubious label and then sold to the consumers. These might just turn out to be even more dangerous than the ones manufactured under a fake label.

They are very hard to spot, and they often have been detected yet in a nuclear power plant. But luckily they were discovered before it got a chance to fail itself which could’ve been catastrophic.

While the supplier chain can always be scrutinized thoroughly, it probably is worth mentioning that these cost-effective counterfeit parts are and will still be inferior when compared to the craftmanship inculcated in making a valve under a registered company.
